About EarthWorx
Family-owned. Fully insured. Built on hard work and honest deals.

Built on Hard Work,
Not Marketing
EarthWorx started because Bill got tired of watching property owners in Pendleton County pay three different contractors to do what one machine could handle. Cut the trees, haul the brush, grind the stumps — three crews, three invoices, three schedules to coordinate. There had to be a better way.
Bill grew up around heavy equipment. His family has roots in Pendleton County going back generations, and he spent years working on farms, running machinery, and doing the kind of land work that teaches you how dirt, trees, and water actually behave. Not from a textbook — from standing in it.
After years of watching landowners get passed between tree crews, dozer operators, and hauling companies — all charging separately, all on different timelines — Bill saw the gap. One machine could do the work of three. A forestry mulcher could cut, grind, and process everything in a single pass. No burn piles. No dump trucks. No waiting around for the next crew to show up.
So he bought the machine, learned it inside and out, and started taking on jobs in Pendleton County. Word got around fast. One neighbor told another, a farmer recommended him to a builder, and before long the phone was ringing from Boone County, Kenton County, and across the river into Ohio and Indiana. That is how EarthWorx Land Management was born — not from a business plan, but from a guy with a machine who did good work and showed up when he said he would.
The Right Machine for the Job
We run a New Holland C337 compact track loader outfitted with a dedicated forestry mulching head. The tracked undercarriage spreads the machine's weight across a wide footprint, so it works on soft Kentucky clay without leaving the kind of ruts that a wheeled machine would. That matters when you are working on someone's property and they expect it to look good when you leave, not torn up like a construction site.
Bill runs the equipment himself on every job. He knows what the machine can handle and what it cannot. Trees up to 10 to 12 inches get processed at working speed. Anything larger, he will bring a chainsaw to drop the big stems first and then mulch everything else. You are not going to get a crew that has never run a mulcher before — you are getting the guy who maintains, operates, and stakes his name on every piece of work that comes off this machine.
No Subcontractors. No Middlemen.
When you call (859) 710-6107, Bill answers. When you schedule an estimate, Bill shows up. When the machine rolls onto your property, Bill is running it. There is no dispatcher, no sales team, no rotating crew of guys you have never met.
This is not a franchise or a company that hires subcontractors and marks up their rate. It is one operator who owns his equipment, does his own maintenance, and stakes his reputation on every single job. That means you get consistency — the same person from the first phone call to the final walkthrough.
It also means accountability. If something is not right, you are not trying to track down a corporate office or a subcontractor who has already moved on to the next job. You are talking directly to the person who did the work. Bill will make it right because his name is on it.
A lot of companies in this space farm out jobs to whoever is available. You call one number, and some random crew shows up. You do not know who they are, what equipment they are running, or how much experience they have. That is not how we operate. You are hiring Bill. Period.
Fully Covered in Three States
EarthWorx carries full commercial general liability insurance and equipment insurance. We are covered in Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana — every state where we work. We can provide certificates of insurance on request for builders, HOAs, general contractors, and property management companies that require them.
This matters more than people realize. Running a 20,000-pound machine with a high-speed cutting drum near homes, fences, utilities, and property lines is inherently risky work. An uninsured operator who damages your fence, hits a buried gas line, or puts a rock through your neighbor's window leaves you holding the bill. We carry insurance specifically so you never have to worry about that.
We also follow all 811 utility locate requirements. Before we start any job, we make sure underground utilities are marked. It is required by law, and we take it seriously. Underground gas lines, fiber optic cables, and septic systems do not show up on the surface. One careless pass with a mulching head can cause thousands in damage and put people at risk.
Pendleton County Roots
EarthWorx is based in Demossville, Kentucky, right in the heart of Pendleton County. This is where Bill lives, where his family is, and where the business started. The people around here are the neighbors and community that Bill grew up with, and that is not something he takes lightly.
We have cleared overgrown fence rows for local farmers who could not get a big company to come out for a small job. We have helped landowners clean up after ice storms and wind events when they did not know who else to call. When someone in the area needs land work done, they know they can pick up the phone and Bill will be there.
The reputation we have built in Pendleton County is the foundation of everything else. Most of our work in Boone County, Grant County, and across the river into Ohio came from referrals — one person tells another, that person tells their builder, and the calls keep coming. We do not spend money on advertising because we do not have to. The work speaks for itself, and the people who have hired us do the talking.
